3 Reasons Why You Should Make Tea A Part Of Your Lifestyle

With a New Year upon us, there is no better time to make tea a part of your daily lifestyle. One of T By Daniel's goals for 2016 is to educate our customers and new tea drinkers about the simplicity of making loose leaf tea a part of your life!

There are way more than three reasons to drink tea everyday but here are our top personal favourites why we choose to drink tea!

1.) Tea is delicious!

Many people who have never tried tea or don't enjoy tea may just be because they had a bad experience in their childhood , or because it was a beverage commonly associated with being sick. This is so far from the truth. 

There are so many flavours, so many fun infusions, and concoctions that have been created from creamy earl greys, to lime greens and peachy rooibos teas.

The greatest thing about tea is that you can enjoy it anyway you like, just like coffee. So if you prefer milk in your tea, for a thicker texture, splash some right in! Have a sweet tooth? Sweeten your tea with honey, agave or just regular sugar to kick up the taste. You can even throw a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg to spice up your life (arrrriba!)! My point is, the tea world is full of creative flavouring options for everyone.

With so many possibili-teas (hee hee), you are bound to find something thats just right for you!

2.) Tea is Healthy!

So what? Brussel sprouts are healthy and I don't eat them! Why should I care if tea is healthy!?

This may be what youre thinking, but the reality is: we are what we eat, and theres just no way to escape it! A lot of the time we experience low energy, extreme fatigue, irritability lack of patience and so many other side effects from poor eating habits. We can end up paying a pretty hefty price (our health) just from not giving something a try.

Tea is proven to fight disease with its antioxidant power that helps reduce free radical cells in the body. Green tea is associated with boosting energy, and rooibos tea can contribute to healthier skin, hair and nails. Oolong tea can help boost your metabolism and the list goes on and on....forever!

As the old saying goes, true wealth is health. So why not make a few changes. You'll thank us later!

3.) Tea is social!

There is nothing greater, nothing cozier, nothing that evokes better conversations than a good cup of tea. It's a great way to spend time with friends and family, a great add on when hosting a night, and a great way to stay warm and cozy during these cold winter months.

You can meet over tea. You can study with tea. You can plan with tea. You can fall in love with tea (cheesy, but I did ;)

Tea is so much more than a beverage. Tea is time well spent. Tea is a good conversation, and a great aid for innovating new ideas. You should check out this really cool spot in downtown Brampton...
