This organically cultivated Hong Cha is bathed in the misty warm air of Thailand surrounded by ancient trees, and showered by constant rainfalls. Every sip is an elegant and exciting adventure of sweet rich honey with brilliant notes of plum and figs.
Tea Type: Black Tea
Sweet, rich honey notes and plum, very mild astringency, smooth mouth feel with a hint of black currant or figs.
Steeping times for this hong cha will depend on your desired taste. 3 mins for a mild cup and 5 minutes for a bolder, stronger flavour. (If possible, we recommend using the Gongfu brewing technique for an exquisite result. Good for 3-4 (1min) infusions using this skillful method.)

This tea is organically cultivated in a subtropical environment, at an altitude of 1,300m. This has major influence on its sweet and subtle flavour.
